6/1/2023 0 Comments Painttool sai 1.2.0![]() ![]() ![]() well, its a shame but thats just how it is. of course, i would understand why anyone who actually paid for a license would be salty about pirating since people arent paying like they did, would that feel like theyve pointlessly wasted their money. idk about other peoples thoughts on that but it just sounds like a waste of money. at least for me though, since i can just barely pay for stuff let alone SOFTWARE that is possible to pirate. but i mean really? buying software that can just be easily pirated, just because "supporting the creator", that just sounds like losing at life. at least not for now, since the version im currently running of sai (the one that prompts me to uac) pretty much works just alright, plus i can always have alternatives to sai just in case (if anyones wondering, yes the clip studio paint ex i have is also CRACKED). You can no longer comment on this thread as it was closed due to no Id like to note that i dont want any mentions of elevated shortcuts or anything like that since afaik it works only when u run the SHORTCUT, NOT THE PROGRAM, and my goal here is for the program itself to run normally with no sorts of this stuff.Īlthough im not really expecting any help since i mostly just felt the need to address this issue since i have barely seen it addressed anywhere else, it would be fucking awesome if i could actually fix it. I would like to know if there is any way to stop sai from prompting me to user account control? (or perhaps an alternative to patch the official program but not gonna get this too into piracy here) not because i have other admins on my laptop or anything but because like i said its pretty annoying and unnatural, and i usually go to these lengths to fix some tiny problem i could just stick with and ignore for the rest of my life. now, this is something i dont understand since the cracked one prompts me to uac even though it never makes any changes to the system at all, as far as i know? then again, leads me to think that its some issue related to the program getting installed from an installer or manually, but i still dont understand how that would even give it admin perms. however, the official one didnt prompt me to uac at all, thus ran normally. the cracked one gave me an admin perms error as expected (fixed that by giving it admin perms on properties but it still prompts me to uac). i downloaded a cracked version of 1.2.5 and the official one from the systemax website, installed both to the program files folder (well sorta installed the cracked version, since i only moved the folder there manually) and compared both sai.exe files. only 1.2.5 at the most.) specifically because of a single fucking ini setting which makes the titlebar blue purely out of nostalgia so HAHA the lengths i have to go to fix a single stupid problem i guess ![]() Of course anyone would think i should really just leave this as it is as long as i got a normally functioning cracked sai, but im personally focusing on a specific detail this version didnt include, which by the way its 1.1.0, and im looking for 1.2.0 and above (but id have to note that NOT 2.0. so i suspected this might have to do with whether or not the program is installed from an installer to the program files folder, since i too have tried moving the sai folders there manually but no dice. after that, there was no issue with admin perms and the program ran normally. The main problem here is that nearly every cracked version of sai i have tried needs to run as administrator for Some Reason and therefore prompts me to UAC which is ABSOLUTELY ANNOYING and unnatural, with the only exception of a version i torrented that had an installer and let me install it to the Program Files folder. So theres this issue ive found while testing multiple cracked SAI versions i have found on the internet (namely youtube) WHICH the thing that absolutely annoys me is that u only download the sai folder compressed and then u literally leave it on ur downloads folder or any other folder instead of actually installing it to C rogram FilesPaintTool SAI (or in my case, Program Files (x86)) which is where it should be ACTUALLY installed. So, i have seen very little of this issue being addressed around the internet but id like to note that this is involving a "cracked" version of sai, but not entirely. im not even sure if this is the right thread or whatever but i just have to address this issue lol by the way this is gonna be a long read so im sorry in advance Hello, id like to address this minor issue ive been having with painttool SAI that is honestly not that big of a deal BUT im used to pay the very attention to little details like this that absolutely baffle me when i cant find a way to fix them easily.
